I was the only one out !

For nearly an hour I was out there by myself ! I eventually had to go in and grab my Camera, I just couldn't let this go Un-photographed. The tide Was going out very quickly, I got dragged across the rocks which was my signal to go in.

Thursday looks like there might be a bit of swell around so im keen to get into the water and shoot down at Mbar (depending on winds)

The New Beginning

My life has started to come back together, with the arrival of my canon 7D and SPL water housing this week. Im surposed to wait for the Docters approval on the 20th to see if i can get back in the water, but I dont think im going to be able to wait that long.

My housing goes unused but the 7D got its first use last night at MMS and I was stocked with the outcome. The quality is that much better then my previous camera and I cant wait to see it in water.

A shame about the rain last night, But that didnt stop some of the skaters coming.

2 Weeks

2 Weeks till my next checkup, hopefully th he will bring me some good news and ill be back in the water that day.

In the meen time some forgotten photos that bring back the good winter memories. Hopefully see you all in the water soon.

My Custom SPL Water Housing for my Canon EOS 550D is currently up for sale on Ebay if your looking at purchasing a 2nd hand one a bit cheaper. Its in Perfect condition and I bought it for $2000 about 6months ago. Who ever grabs this will have just as much fun as I have!

A turn for the worse?

I sit here typing up this blog with only finger, purely because im unable to use my other one due to the circumstances I've been through this week.

A broken collar bone was not expected by me or anyone nor was there anyone to blame. Unfortunatly its fallen 2 days before exams, a week before my grad, and 11 days before my along waited trip to the island of Samoa. Through this event, I have come to a greater appreciation of my family and Im enjoying spending these lasts weeks with them in Aus before my depature to fiji next year.

I will be Unable to surf here in Australia till September 2011 which is quite sadenning, but my adventures through the waters on Fiji for 8 months will definitly bring some excite to my life, and hopefully some entertainment for you.

Until then, Surf photos from land is my next challenge, and events like this one below at Ramp Attack.

Mass Skate!!

What an awesome night! the last mass skate was definitly the best yet!

The next skate is on the 19th of this month! meeting point will be at the caloundra interchange car park, (bustop) at 7p.m, some will be bussing it from the plaza catching the 6pm bus. its open to anyone and everyone so feel free to come along!!!
