Stadium Day

Had a School excursion down to see Suncorp Stadium and the Gabba, But the teacher forgot the books that we were surposed to do our work in! so i took photos and had had a good day :)

Christian Surfers

I've never had so much fun with a group of surfers when the surf is flat! Im proud to be a member of CS, they are doing such wonders with kids of broken familys to Super groms.

We headed up to Double Island point early sat morning even though the surf outlook wasnt promising, we still wanted to check it out and have a good time. The Sand dune was awesome fun for the groms to make a ramp out of to practise there inverts haha didnt turn out to well.

CS trips are very cheap, only cost me $7 for the day.

"South Swell" Cont.

"South Swell"

Went for an early surf today thinking that there might be a little bit of swell kicking in from the south. We got to kings at 6 to find it was pretty well flat! Only 1-2ft max of swell rolling through. We were pretty bummed thinking this south swell was a hoax. To our suprise the forecast was correct and we ended up getting a few awesome waves on the outgoing tide.

Brayden, Ryan and Richard all had some epic waves while Brody filmed and I shot in the water.

Richo especially had a good session as he charged the hardest and got wave of the day. He ended up spending most of the day in barrels like these.

Bushrangers VS Uni

Friday night I got a lift down with the captain of the Maleny Bushrangers Team Nathen and his family for the fight to see which team would remain undefeated for this part of the season.

Unfortunatly my home team didnt get the win but it was a very enjoyable match to watch. Unlike most other Union teams maleny always manages to have a laugh on the field during the toughest parts of the games. A true footy team.

Wurtulla

After looking at the swell forecast friday night I realised there was nothing to get excited about, but i just needed to go down to try out my new water housing. Suprisingly it was glassy and held about 2-3ft waves at times with a few decent banks around

Rock School Challenge 2010 Heat 1

Took the train down to South Bank Last Wednesday night to check ou the Rock School Challenge heat 1. Since it was my first time using the camera i was pretty sketchy! but i had a little bit of fun with it on the train down there just fiddling with different settings and the video mode.

Some pretty epic performances but overall I think the only sunnycoast band The LedRoses deserved the win. Overall I think some of the images turned out pretty good.

Another stand out band was definitly Upside Downside! (featured below)
